looking good with a toned strong body for the rest of your life requires a commitment to incorporate excercise and sensible nutrition into your lifestyle.
If you regard gym as pretty hard work and thought it is just a one off prescription, then you are seriously deluded.
I am 53 years old, and excercise and good nutrition is part of my life.I wake up early Mon-Fri and workout at the gym. I am stronger than most people my age and I enjoy my workouts.
It is a mind frame. If you can accept that excercise has to be part of your life, then it won't be a chore or a form of torture.
Go for the 90% rule. Workout a few days a week, rest the other few days.Eat your favourite junk food one or twice a week but eat well at 90% of the time.
You are not a health freak like Madonna once was, find the balance, and healthy toned strong body will stay with you.You didnt lose weight when you lost the belly fat cos fat takes up a lot of space and weighs just 1/5 of muscles. When your fat shrank, and muscles developed, your weight remained constant. You will put on weight if you really shrank away all your body fat and put on some serious muscle.
It is good at 17 you made the effort to lose your fat.
Congratulations! Just stick to the 90% rule and you will do just fine.
